Art Sponsorships

Our last Exhibition:

"Raw"1-18 March 2001

The Gallery at Mamma Roma was set up in January 2000 as a showcase for cutting edge modern art and hosts exhibitions by renowned artists. So far, there have been three exhibitions:

Palace

Anna Bjerger, Richard Clegg & Chantal Joffe
19 October - 4 November 2000

Tim Renshaw & Guendalina Salini

29 June - 15 July 2000

Sporadinate

James Aldridge, Daniel Coombs & Danny Rolph
2 - 18 March 2000

The shows are unique in that there is no commercial pressure on either the artist, curator or the visitor. The curators, Danny Rolph and James Aldridge are themselves award winning artists, with works appearing in top art galleries such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, and in renowned collections such as that of international collector Frank Cohen.

Formerly a warehouse, the Gallery at Mamma Roma is notable for its split level feature whereby both floors are visible on entrance. This attraction has its appeal for artists and visitors alike.
